TheCriminalDuder:

An interview? Sounds awesome! I'm down.

How important is making flash and music to you? What is your purpose?

It's very important to me to make both flash for people to watch/play and music to laugh/listen to. Duder Entertainment from the start was about making people laugh and I know theirs more then a couple people out here in the online world trying to become a source of entertainment for the entire internet, but I remain pretty determined to keep at it - making people laugh, making people happy... is one of the best goals I ever made for myself.

Who is your idol (if you have one)?

Years ago I'd say Legendaryfrog and Super-Flash-Bros. Now it's nearly every other artist on NG - the whole community really. To see all these teens and young adults trying to make stuff that their friends would want to show all their other friends is very inspirational. NG has become a machine spitting out creativity spawned from just about everything, by everyone.

Is making "The Duders" a hobby or work?

Sometimes it's work when my motivations down or I'm caught in depression. However The Duders is a story that I feel I have to get out and show the world. It had a rough beginning with little foundation, also it's never felt like a simple hobby - more like something I just have to do. It's either an out of control hobby that's engulfed a fair portion of my life - or something in my head I just need to see out here... - so on/off hobby and work or both I suppose is the best answer I can give.

What do you like more? Making music or making movies?

Musics always felt awkward for me. I never felt I had rhythm or knowledge in it. Movies like flash and my videos are what I enjoy the most. I love imagining a scene in my head cut into shots and I get really excited and pumped when I'm working on a script. It's a huge drag how long it takes for some things to get done, however once finished its really rewarded submitting it to NG and waiting to see the first few reviews. When I submit music I fear the first reviews and getting flamed for making crap.

Have you ever made a movie for a holiday (Pico Day, Robot Day)? If not, do you plan too?

Made Cute Madness for 3 Madness Days now and don't expect to stop the tradition. Use to watch Madness in school during class. Really pissed off and disturbed some teachers - it was fucking great. Made a cartoon MTC vs. Pico for Pico day sometime ago. Felt I should make a remake as it was a quickie. I've had ideas and a script or 4 for Pico day cartoons over the years, but never felt up to gettin' 'em done. I enjoy clockday a lot too. Even made The Duderclocks.

Thanks a bunch for the review. Was fun and I appreciate it - I enjoy interviews.

Gravey:
Have you ever thought of doing work in movies or TV shows?
My career ambition is to become a successful soundtrack designer for video games, movies, television shows, commercials, etc. So yes, I've thought about it and am working towards making that a reality.

Do you have any idols?
No.

Whats your favorite piece of work you have done?
Truthfully, most of my work has not been posted on the internet. But in terms of what I've posted here on Newgrounds, I would have to say Orchestral Theme 3 is my favorite piece so far.

Whats your taste in music (to listen to)?
Everything. And unlike most people, I literally mean everything. I have 700 gigs of music ranging from polka metal to Indian pop music. On a daily basis I listen to metal more than anything because it is my workout music. So I have a couple hours a day set aside to working out and metal is what gets me and keeps me in the mood.

Some of the more common bands/artists I listen to on a daily basis would be:

Anaal Nathrakh
Blind Guardian
Children of Bodom
Dark Tranquility

Meshuggah
